ENROLLING YOUR CHILDREN AT CVPS

When enrolling your child please ensure you bring your child’s birth certificate as proof of birth date, and proof of up to date vaccinations, including measles. An enrolment pack can be given to you at the front office. Alternatively, you can contact us and we can send you some enrolment forms. 

Pre-Primary is now a compulsory year of schooling and students attend 5 full days – applicable to children turning 5 before June 30.

Kindergarten is non-compulsory but highly recommended to help develop essential school skills. Students attend for 3 full days by the end of the year.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS AND ENROLMENT DETAILS

Parents are required to keep the school informed of any changes to address or caregiver’s phone numbers. This is essential to allow quick contact with parents in emergency situations.

TRANSFERRING TO OTHER SCHOOLS

Please inform the office staff as soon as you know your child will be moving to another school. This allows all the necessary arrangements to be made for your child’s school materials to be taken to the new school and school records to be sent as required.

VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS

$50.00 PER CHILD

The voluntary contributions go towards school needs, as determined by the School Council, which are reviewed annually. It would be appreciated if these contributions could be paid in the first two weeks of Term 1 so that we can further plan our costs and expenditures for the school year. Cheques should be made out to Chapman Valley Primary School or cash put in a special envelope which is handed out for these contributions. More information is available from the school office.
